The Palace Pier - Above & Below

I first started working on this project several years ago when I initially took the "below" photos from a boat whilst on a wakeboarding shoot. I really loved the abstract feel to them with the reflections and contrasts.

The difference between being on the Pier and under it is so drastic that I wanted to capture the comparison. 

I returned with my camera last year making sure I got there early in the morning when Brighton hadn't quite woken up.  Being devoid of people created the arty feel I was aiming for which I think compliments the "below" photos perfectly.  I've loved working on these and hope you like them too.

I have limited each image to a run of 50 editions and each one comes with a hand signed and numbered certificate of authenticity.
